Logo Justification

Our logo represents how we interact with the community: as pro bono volunteers, as professional interpreters, and as community liaisons.

The three circles stand for unity, wholeness, solidarity.

The background colors of the circles symbolize our intersecting identities. The red, black and green showcase the Pan African flag, as created by Marcus Garvey. Rainbow colors represent the Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans, Queer plus community flag, as created by Gilbert Baker. Silver and Gold display the colors of Deaf Awareness.

The hands in various shades of brown, spotlight our Black and Brown identities.

Thank you to Martina Bell, a Black Deaf graphic designer, actress and filmmaker, for creating our fabulous logo! Pro Bono ASL is proud to support the BIPOC Deaf Ecosystem. EMAIL FACEBOOK INSTAGRAM
